Hi Debra, you have made every quilt that I have and I would like you to make one for my husband. I would like to know if you could make him a quilt that has all of his favorite teams on it? Like basketball, hockey, football, and racing? I would like to see if you can do this but not in the normal square pattern, can you do something off the wall with the fabric pattern and come up with something different for the quilting of it?
I've had the pleasure of receiving many "where did you get that" after getting a quillow of my favorite football team for my birthday. The intricate machine quilted patterns definitely complement the beauty of these quilts. As such, I have had to tell many people about the website so they can get their own and leave mine alone.
Yes Vicki, I can make an unusual team quilt for him. You will need to find me the team fabrics you want used. I have some interesting new quilting patterns thaat are great on men and boys quilts. Hope to hear from you soon, remember piecing takes time so be sure and allow for that.
Found your site by accident looking for blogs on gear machining. =) there is a pretty big difference in what we do, nice blog though... I think my wife is better suited to read and get info from here. Have a good one and keep up the good info.
Debra is a Christian woman who enjoys good fun mixed with lots of laughter. She has also admitted to being a Fabriholic. She is never going to have all the right fabric for a project so of course it means “SHOPPING” sometimes followed by the words “when did I pick that up?”
Debra has been quilting for many years and comes from a quilting family. Her Mother and Aunts often talked of how her Great Grand Mother helped family finances by making and selling her quilts.
Debra’s true passion has become machine quilting. She loves the many artists who have saved her the work of creating a quilting pattern with their many published books. She often goes through these books looking for just the right choice for a quilt. Debra has some artist in her also and does design some of her own patterns or sometimes will combine several artists work to get just the right look on a quilt.
Debra worked 15+ years for a local quilt shop in Jacksonville Oregon, and has machine quilted over 1000 quilts. Maybe one of them was yours. The first of 2005, Debra stepped out on her own. She quilts for others and pieces and quilts some of her own choices, which can be found for sale on her web site.

The Floral Patchwork quilt on your website is beautiful. What other flower patterns can Debra Quilt? Can she do roses or tulips?
Yes Mike, I can do tulip, free form daisies. pansies. I have also custom designed flowers to compliment the design of the fabric in the quilt.
